Lunch Ticket is Antioch University Los Angeles’s MFA student-run online literary journal. It strives to publish writers and artists who have been marginalized or whose voices have been historically misrepresented or underrepresented. It welcomes work that engages with concerns of social, environmental and economic justice. I served in editorial roles on Lunch Ticket for three issues in three subsequent semesters. On my third and final issue of Lunch Ticket, Issue 15, I embraced roles on the editorial management team, working as the Blog Editor and Weekly Content Manager.

During my second issue on Lunch Ticket, Issue 14, I served as the lead Flash Prose Editor, a blogger, Assistant Blog Editor, and interviewer. The flash prose work I read, chose, and edited was published in the Winter/Spring 2019 issue of Lunch Ticke…

The flash prose work I read, chose, and edited was published in the Winter/Spring 2019 issue of Lunch Ticket, Issue 14, in December 2018. Additionally, the interview I conducted with Alex Marzano-Lesnevich on their excellent memoir, The Fact of a Body, is the Lunch Special featured interview for Lunch Ticket Issue 14.

I was an Assistant Editor of Flash Prose during my first semester. The work I read and edited was published in the Summer/Fall 2018 issue, Issue 13, of Lunch Ticket in June 2018.

Editing since 2006.

I served as Campus Editor for The Daily Cardinal for the 2006-'07 academic year, editing and guiding 17+ student reporters. The Daily Cardinal is one of two competing daily newspapers at UW-Madison and one of the oldest student daily newspapers in the world. National publications picked up some stories I broke and edited.
